Several prominent oil and gas companies — a wide range of legal, business and enforcement issues arising from federal pipeline safety regulation, including jurisdictional issues; PHMSA inspections of mixed regulated/unregulated facilities; impact radius assessment; special permits (waivers); and major policy and regulatory changes governing oil pipelines and gas pipelines

New joint venture — pipeline siting, alternative routing, environmental impacts, safety, stakeholder engagement, and the requirements and concerns of federal environmental and resource agencies in the construction of a roughly $2 billion, cross-border natural gas pipeline system

Pipeline developers and anchor shippers — numerous inter- and intra-state natural gas and liquids pipelines, including permitting, environmental impact assessment, FERC environmental requirements, and related litigation

Large midstream energy company — an EPA enforcement action involving alleged violations of the Clean Air Act’s Risk Management Program. After assisting the client in developing arguments in defense of EPA’s allegation, EPA decided not to pursue enforcement.

Midstream oil and gas company — multiple enforcement actions brought by EPA and the TCEQ related to alleged air and water quality permit violations
