Bracewell Advises Kinder Morgan Inc. on Pore Space Lease in CCS Project

HOUSTON – Bracewell LLP is advising Kinder Morgan Inc. in connection with its pore space lease of 10,800 acres near the Houston Ship Channel with total CO₂ storage capacity in excess of 300 million tonnes from TGS Cedar Port Partners, LP. The lease will give Kinder Morgan a geographically and geologically advantaged platform to develop CO₂ sequestration solutions for nearby sources of emissions as it expands its carbon management and storage business unit.
