Kevin Ewing Named to A Word About Wind’s Legal Power List 2022

WASHINGTON, DC – Bracewell’s Kevin A. Ewing has been named to A Word About Wind’s Legal Power List 2022, a biennial and independent publication that showcases the top 100 lawyers that exert the most influence on the wind industry globally, through the deals they work on and the advice they provide.

Ewing, who helps lead the firm’s offshore wind practice, has 30 years of experience advising traditional and renewable energy companies offshore. In recognizing Ewing, A Word About Wind spotlighted his representation of Equinor as US counsel in its $1.1 billion agreement to sell to BP a 50 percent interest in the Empire Wind project and the Beacon Wind project off the US East Coast. In addition, Ewing’s work includes ground-breaking wind projects and precedent-setting litigation, including the first major US case testing modern offshore wind leasing.
