The San Antonio Business Journal Honors Victoria Garcia as a Woman Who Leads in Legal Services

SAN ANTONIOVictoria M. Garcia, managing partner of Bracewell LLP’s San Antonio office, has been named a 2022 Woman Who Leads in Legal Services by the San Antonio Business Journal. Garcia, whose practice focuses on immigration and labor and employment law, provides clients with comprehensive legal guidance regarding business immigration and employment matters.

Garcia was recognized along with two other San Antonio-area women lawyers for her leadership, dedication to improving the legal industry, community involvement, and strong mentorship. As a leader in the San Antonio community, she is on the Board of Directors for Tech Port San Antonio, a 1,900-acre technology innovation campus, and the United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County. Garcia also serves on the Executive Committee for Greater SATX, a regional economic partnership, and the Western District of Texas Admissions and Disciplinary Committee.

“I always tell those I mentor to set their priorities for all their objectives – focus on what is truly important to you,” Garcia tells the San Antonio Business Journal. “In addition, build a strong support network, and when you are tasked with creating a team, do so in a way that builds on each person’s strengths and empowers each individual to be a leader.”

Garcia earned her J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law, and she is Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization (1996).
