With cyberattacks being at the forefront of the news cycle and cybercriminals becoming more brazen, Bracewell’s Vince Morgan took a deep-dive look into cybersecurity insurance and risk mitigation with Texas Lawyer in “Texas Takeaways.”

This is a constantly evolving area, both in terms of the mechanics of hacking and cybersecurity, as well as the players involved, says Morgan.

“One thing is certain—what happened in the past only offers limited guidance to what will happen in the future,” Morgan said. “So companies need to undertake a comprehensive assessment of their exposure, along with their plans to prevent cyberattacks if possible and mitigate them if necessary.”
