For the second year in a row, Bracewell LLP’s Paul Shechtman has been named to City & State’s Law Power 50 List, recognizing the most influential leaders in the New York legal community. Honorees include civil rights and criminal defense lawyers, prosecutors, government relations attorneys and legal scholars.
According to City & State, Shechtman has represented many clients in governmental matters throughout his career, including the New York City Department of Environmental Protection in an investigation into water treatment facilities, former nonprofit leader William Rapfogel, and the New York State Assembly during the corruption investigation of Sheldon Silver. Shechtman was recently appointed to the New York State Bar Association’s Task Force on Domestic Terrorism and Hate Crimes.
