Bracewell Swipes Managing Partner From Pillsbury Winthrop

Vincent Morgan spoke with Law360 about his recent move to Bracewell. Morgan, who is widely regarded as one of the leading insurance coverage lawyers in the country, joined Bracewell’s Houston office as a partner in the litigation group to help the firm build a full insurance legal service for its corporate clients.

Morgan describes joining the firm as a “marrying of two house together,” as he has done coverage work for many of the companies that Bracewell currently represents. He added that he was attracted to Bracewell because of its strengths in the energy and healthcare sectors, its strong presence in Texas and its collaborative culture. 

“One of the most important things that matters a lot to me is a cultural fit. Everybody I talk to who has worked at Bracewell in the past or works here now just raves about this place from a cultural standpoint,” said Morgan.
