Bracewell Nominated for Legal Advisor of the Year at 2019 P3 Awards

New York (July 19, 2019) – Bracewell LLP has been shortlisted for Legal Advisor of the Year at the 2019 P3 Awards, which will take place in New York City on October 3.

Bracewell is being recognized for its role in several public-private partnerships (P3s) in the past year, including the firm’s representation of the sponsors and project company in the development of the Howard County, Maryland Circuit Courthouse Project. The project is the second courthouse P3 project to close in the United States.

The project has been shortlisted for several awards, including Best Social Infrastructure Project (Excluding Education) and Best Financial Structure—Social Infrastructure. In addition, Edgemoor Infrastructure & Real Estate, which is one of the project sponsors, is a finalist for the Sponsor/Developer of the Year, and Howard County is a finalist for Government Agency of the Year.

Now in its sixth year, the P3 Awards recognize companies and organizations involved in P3s across Canada, Latin America and the United States. The awards are sponsored by Partnership Events and P3 Bulletin, a leading source on the use of P3s across the Americas to procure, build and manage public infrastructure. Submissions were judged by a panel of over 80 industry experts, with a focus on innovation.
