Bracewell Named Best Firm in the US South at 2023 Women in Business Law Americas Awards

HOUSTON – Bracewell LLP was named Best Firm in the US South at Delinian Limited’s 2023 Women in Business Law Americas Awards, held in New York City on June 8.

Bracewell won the award in recognition of its long-standing commitment to the promotion and advancement of women and diverse lawyers through formal mentoring and training programs, networking opportunities and programming that support the firm’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Bracewell has been recognized as a leader within the legal profession for achieving gender parity in its US partner classes. Within the last three years, approximately 55 percent of the lawyers internally promoted to partner at Bracewell have been women.

In addition, women hold strategic leadership positions throughout the firm, with approximately one-third of US women partners serving on the management committee or as an office managing partner, practice chair, department head or hiring partner.

Now in its 12th year, Delinian Limited’s Women in Business Law Americas Awards recognize the success of law firms in advancing diversity and inclusion, as well as lawyers who have excelled in their practices.
