About Annie

Annie Cook represents oil and gas pipeline, terminal and LNG clients across the United States on traditional and renewable energy, transportation and safety-related legal matters at the federal, state and local levels. With a particular acumen for technical issues which has garnered the respect of both clients and regulators alike, Annie regularly advises on pipeline regulatory compliance and enforcement defense matters, including with respect to energy transition issues such as carbon dioxide and hydrogen, ranging from construction, operations, maintenance, incident response, to security. Annie has assisted clients in successfully challenging administrative agency actions at the administrative and federal appellate level and she is regularly involved with legislative and regulatory rulemaking advocacy. Along with her team, Annie has managed confidential investigations and compliance audits, including criminal investigations led by the Department of Transportation’s Office of Inspector General, to favorable resolutions.
