Yvonne Ho Appointed to Houston Volunteer Lawyers Board of Directors

HOUSTON – Bracewell LLP’s Yvonne Ho has been appointed to the board of directors of Houston Volunteer Lawyers, the pro bono legal arm of the Houston Bar Association (HBA). Her year-long term starts June 1, 2020. 

Ho, who is a partner in the firm’s appellate group, has a long history of leadership and volunteer work with the HBA. She has co-chaired several committees, including Minority Opportunities in the Legal Profession, Lawyers for Literacy, Judicial Polls, Campaign for the Homeless, and Professionalism Committees, and currently serves as chair of the Federal Practice Section. 

Founded by HBA in 1981, Houston Volunteer Lawyers provides free legal services to low-income residents of Harris County, Texas.
