Bracewell Represents Rockland Power Partners in the Sale of a Portfolio of Peaking Generation Units to Lincoln Power
HOUSTON – Bracewell LLP, a leading law and government relations firm, is representing Rockland Power Partners II, LP in the sale of a portfolio of more than 1,000 MW of peaking generation units in the PJM Interconnection to Lincoln Power, L.L.C., a subsidiary of Carlyle Power Partners II, L.P.
The transaction involves three combustion turbine plants in Illinois: Elgin Energy Center, a 476 MW simple cycle, natural gas-fired power generation facility located in Elgin; Rocky Road Energy Center, a 375 MW simple cycle, natural gas-fired power generation facility located in East Dundee; and Tilton Energy Center, a 188 MW simple cycle, natural gas-fired power generation facility located in Tilton.
The transaction is expected to close the end of June 2017. The purchase price is confidential.
