Bracewell Deal Named Community Impact Finalist for the Houston Business Journal’s 2018 Landmark Awards

HOUSTON – Bracewell LLP is pleased to announce that the firm’s representation of Star of Hope Cornerstone Community® has been named a finalist in the Community Impact category for the Houston Business Journal’s Landmark Awards. Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in Houston on April 19, 2018.

Cornerstone Community® is a building block for the Star of Hope’s mission to support the ever-present population of homeless in the Houston area. Bracewell acted as development counsel to Star of Hope on all aspects of this new campus’ development, including land acquisition, land sales, leases, joint ventures, financing, bank loans and intellectual property.

Bracewell’s lead on this project was Partner Aaron P. Roffwarg, chair of the firm’s real estate department.

The Landmark Awards annually recognize commercial real estate projects and developments that create the foundation of the Houston landscape.
