ESG/SEC Disclosure and Implications

If you follow the trade press, it seems that every other article of late is focused on this topic. There have been so many developments (and different takes on those developments) that it has become hard to keep track of them, let alone know how to separate the wheat from the chaff. The Bracewell environmental team will provide an overview of ESG reporting/disclosure issues and the market dynamics that are driving the increased focus on these issues, and then drill down a little further into (1) legal issues and risks and (2) the role of counsel in supporting internal deliberations environmental compliance obligations, data gathering, the operational consequences of ESG commitments, and risk governance.
