About Martina

Martina Hinojosa focuses her practice on public finance, specifically in the issuance of governmental and nonprofit bonds, formation and management of public-private partnerships, and certain aspects of tax and securities law compliance. She has significant experience serving as bond counsel, borrower’s counsel, disclosure counsel, and underwriter’s counsel in a wide range of financings, including general obligation bonds, revenue bonds, tax increment financings, private placement notes and bonds, lease transactions and letters of credit.

Martina also provides a wide array of general counsel services to governmental entities and nonprofit organizations. As former in-house counsel to a statewide office holder and a private university, she is skilled in advising clients on corporate governance matters, legislative and regulatory compliance, and policy development and implementation.  

Prior to joining Bracewell, Martina was a partner at a public finance law firm in San Antonio and also practiced law in Colorado.
