Anna Wortham is a healthcare and litigation attorney with experience in all aspects of civil litigation from case intake through final disposition, including post-trial motions. Anna represents clients in state courts, federal courts, and arbitration proceedings, and has represented clients in a variety of industries, including healthcare, solar energy, oil and gas, film, construction, real estate, and food and beverage. Anna has tried multiple bench and jury trials and represented clients at final hearing in arbitration. Anna’s practice focuses on disputes involving managed care, misappropriation of trade secrets, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duties, employment matters, fraud and other business torts, and other high-risk business disputes.
Anna’s recent experience includes representing several of the largest healthcare systems in the United States in commercial and managed care litigation and regulatory and compliance matters. Anna represents clients in internal and government investigations, including advising clients regarding violations of federal and state anti-kickback laws, Stark laws, and HIPAA. Anna also represents clients in litigation involving breaches of physician recruitment agreements, lease disputes, and breaches of facility agreements. Anna has extensive experience in managed care litigation, including litigation involving ERISA, Medicare and Medicaid, state statutory claims, pricing disputes, and other issues.
