DALLAS – Sarah Tahir, an associate in Bracewell’s Dallas office, has been selected to serve on the Executive Council of Women in Public Finance – Texas Chapter. She will serve a three-year term, beginning June 1, 2024, through May 31, 2027.

Founded in 1997, the national organization of Women in Public Finance is a professional networking organization for women in the public finance industry. The Texas Chapter was established in 2012 with the goal of strengthening the next generation of women leaders in the public finance industry in Texas by fostering relationships and providing educational activities and forums. The Texas Chapter’s participants include state and local government issuers, investment bankers, attorneys, financial advisors, rating agency analysts, trust officers and municipal market investors.
