Tom advises clients on strategies concerning development, protection, enforcement and risk mitigation involving patent, trademark and other intellectual property rights. He has substantial experience in patent, trademark, copyright and trade secret litigation before federal district and appellate courts, in inter partes review proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, and in opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.

Prior to entering private practice, Tom served as a law clerk to the Honorable James A. Teilborg of the US District Court for the District of Arizona.
