
About Nancy
Nancy LeGros has devoted her entire legal career to serving healthcare clients. She has 25 years of experience in advising clients on healthcare regulatory compliance, reimbursement, and operational matters such as medical peer review, academic affiliations and governance. Nancy’s clients have included hospitals, academic medical institutions, clinical research organizations, physician groups, home health and hospice agencies, long term care facilities and mental health facilities.
Prior to joining Bracewell, she served as senior vice president, legal services and chief legal officer at CHRISTUS Health, an international Catholic health system with $5.7 billion in assets. During her tenure at CHRISTUS, Nancy led a legal department that advised the parent, provider entities and health plans on a broad range of legal matters, including major transactions and strategic affiliations in the U.S. and Latin America. Her experience as both external and in-house counsel has given Nancy a keen understanding of the health care industry and of the daily challenges faced by health care providers and their in-house legal advisors. She has a passion for excellence in client service and a practical approach to resolving matters for her clients.
