About Jessica

Jessica advises lenders and sponsors on finance transactions in the energy and infrastructure sectors, including project finance, acquisition finance and syndicated lending transactions.

Prior to joining Bracewell, Jessica was an associate in the London office of an international law firm. She spent six months on secondment to the firm’s office in Mexico City, advising on the implementation of the Mexican energy reforms.

Rabobank — project financing the 49.5 MW battery energy storage system (BESS) project to be developed by Cero Generation and Enso Energy and co-located with the 49.9 MW Larks Green solar farm located in Gloucestershire, England

Hellas Gold Single Member, S.A. — €680 million project financing facility for a subsidiary of Eldorado Gold Corporation for the development of the Skouries gold and copper mine in Northern Greece  

Savannah Energy PLC — $407 million acquisition of ExxonMobil’s entire upstream and midstream asset portfolio in Chad and Cameroon 

Gran Tierra Energy Inc. — up to $150 million prepayment facility with Trafigura as lender, with repayments to be deducted from the price payable by Trafigura under commercial contracts for the purchase of crude oil from Gran Tierra's producing fields located in Colombia

VAALCO Energy, Inc. — $50 million reserve-based financing with Glencore Energy UK and which includes an accordion feature of a further $50 million, supported by Vaalco’s working interest in the Etame Marin block offshore Gabon, as borrower

Riverstone Credit Management LLC — $100 million senior secured delayed-draw green loan facility with ESG-linked pricing to Harland & Wolff Group Holdings plc, a UK-based fabrication and maintenance company operating in the maritime, defence, oil & gas and renewable energy sectors, including in relation to UK offshore wind projects

Savannah Energy Plc — financing arrangements in respect of Savannah’s acquisition of Exxon and Petronas’ entire interests in the Doba oil field in Chad and their shareholding in the Chad-Cameroon Pipeline and Floating, Storage and Offloading vessel for a total consideration of up to $676 million

British and North American institutional investors (including Sun Life Investments, Aviva Investors, Scottish Widows and Aberdeen Standard Investments) — provision of funding to the Rock Rail consortium in connection with the procurement and leasing of the new rolling stock for the East Midlands (£400 million) and West Coast Mainline (£350 million) franchises*

Lenders (including The Royal Bank of Scotland, National Australia Bank, ING, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, Barclays and Santander) — refinancing of the £500 million revolving, ESG-linked SONIA acquisition facility of The Renewables Infrastructure Group, a fund managed by Infrared Capital Partners*

La Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec and CKD Infraestructura México — Mexican aspects of the acquisition of a majority stake ENEL Green Power’s 1700 MW Mexican renewable energy portfolio*
