Gray Muzzy has represented and counseled oil and gas exploration and production companies, pipeline companies, developers, purchasers and sellers for over 30 years in both upstream and midstream transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, exploration, production and development agreements, transportation and processing agreements.
Gray served for four years as senior vice president and general counsel at a Fortune 500 company with more than $3.5 billion in revenue and 30,000 employees across the country. As a former general counsel, he has a firsthand appreciation of the challenges facing in-house counsel and the need for practical, solution-based advice.

Chevron U.S.A. Inc. — represented Union Oil Company of California in its sale of its terminaling facility located in Nederland, Texas, to Phillips 66 Gulf Coast Properties LLC
DCP Midstream, LP — negotiating a Gas Gathering and Processing Agreement with Kerr-McGee Oil & Gas Onshore LP for the gathering and processing of gas production from the Wattenberg Field in northeastern Colorado, to be processed under a percentage of production arrangement
Leading North American pipeline and midstream company — acquisition from Equitrans, L.P. of all the membership interest of Big Sandy Pipeline, LLC, owner of the Big Sandy Pipeline located in Kentucky
