Deryck R. Van Alstyne

Deryck Van Alstyne counsels and represents employers in all areas of employment law, including litigation, administrative investigations and other actions. Deryck routinely advises employers on discrimination prevention, wage and hour compliance and other matters. He also drafts employment policies and employee handbooks specific to client industry and management needs. During law school, he served as senior articles editor of the Houston Journal of International Law, and also completed a judicial internship with the Honorable Marvin Isgur of the US Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas.

Prior to joining Bracewell, Deryck was an associate in the Houston office of a Texas-based law firm.
