About Claire

Claire Cahoon focuses her practice on government enforcement and investigations and complex commercial litigation.  Claire represents a wide range of multi-national corporations, private equity firms, and individuals in enforcement, regulatory compliance, and litigation matters. She frequently co-hosts Bracewell podcasts and updates clients regarding impactful legal news, particularly relating to federal agency enforcement, blockchain technologies, and data privacy and cybersecurity. Claire’s straightforward approach and creative thinking helps clients efficiently navigate legal challenges.

Claire's legal career began in college while working as a Law Clerk for the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office. Her litigation career at Bracewell began as a summer associate, gaining further experience as a legal intern at the Human Rights Initiative and a legal extern in the US Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Texas. She was named an American Constitution Society Next Generation Leader in 2018.
