Shayan Najib Honored as Most Promising Newcomer at Middle East Legal Awards

DUBAI – Shayan Najib, an associate in Bracewell LLP’s Dubai office, was named the most promising newcomer at the 2021 Middle East Legal Awards.

Najib represents lenders, sponsors and borrowers on syndicated and bilateral conventional and Shari'a compliant financings, including general lending, project finance, ECA and real estate finance. In addition, he has also been involved in several prominent restructurings in the regions. Most recently, Najib was a member of the Bracewell team that advised Marubeni Corporation and Total Solar on the development and financing of the 800.15 MW Al Kharsaah solar photovoltaic independent power project in Qatar; Marubeni and Al Jomaih Energy and Water Company as sponsors of the Rabigh 300 MW solar photovoltaic IPP in Saudi Arabia; and the Marubeni and Kyushu Electric consortium in their bid for the Facility E integrated water and power plant in Qatar.
