Bracewell Represents New Age on Disposal of Nigeria Assets

LONDON – Bracewell (UK) LLP represented New Age (African Global Energy) Limited in connection with the agreement to dispose of its 32.07 percent economic and voting interest in OML 113 in Nigeria, which contains the Aje Field, to PetroNor E&P ASA.

Completion of the transaction is subject to customary conditions, including regulatory approvals in Nigeria.

This deal continues Bracewell’s recent upstream transactional activity in Nigeria, which has included acting for Eni S.p.A. on the sale to Oando of various operated onshore interests, and advising bidders and lenders on the ongoing sale processes.
