LONDON ‒ The Women’s Energy Council has named Bracewell (UK) LLP partner Olivia Caddy to its 2020 Global Female Influencer 275 list, which honors senior female executives who have played a significant role in shaping the energy industry.
Caddy is an energy finance lawyer who advises financial institutions, private equity funds and E&P independents on a wide range of upstream debt financings. Her experience includes multi-jurisdictional transactions across Europe, North America, Asia and Africa where, as a native French speaker, she fits in naturally on projects in Francophone Africa.
The Women’s Energy Council was launched by the Oil & Gas Council in 2014 as a global networking group based on the belief that a more inclusive workforce not only enhances business performance but also serves as an integral part of business strategy and planning. The Global Female Influencer 275 is part of the organization’s “Celebrating Equal” initiative which looks to champion those who have already carved a journey to the management board or senior leadership and have a voice in the upper echelons of the energy industry.
