Bracewell’s Nicole Boeckmann spoke with the New York Law Journal after joining the firm as partner in the government enforcement and investigations practice.
Boeckmann said she is excited to take on her first private-practice role and rejoin colleagues from the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York, including Bracewell partners Seth DuCharme and Roslynn Mauskopf.
“Judge Mauskopf actually hired me, so just knowing that I had folks that I know are high-caliber, intelligent folks that are really committed to their work really drew me to the firm,” Boeckmann said.
Boeckmann, who had spent her entire career in public service, joined Bracewell following 20 years of service with EDNY.
