Bracewell’s Seth D. DuCharme spoke with Wall Street Journal reporter Rebecca Davis O’Brien about joining the firm as a partner.
“I don’t sit at my desk all the time,” DuCharme said. “That will translate well to the private sector. If you are willing to walk in your client’s shoes, I think they appreciate it, and it puts you in a better position to understand the challenges they are facing and empathize with the concerns that they have.”
DuCharme said he expected to focus on the complex international matters that he specialized in during a government career that began in Brooklyn in 1996 with the US Marshals Service, tracking down fugitives overseas.
