NEW YORK – Bracewell LLP’s commitment to client service was once again honored in the 2021 edition of Chambers USA. The firm was recognized with 85 practice and individual rankings for excellence representing clients in the energy, infrastructure, real estate and technology sectors, as well as on regulatory and litigation matters.

For the seventh year in a row, Bracewell earned a Nationwide Band 1 ranking in Oil & Gas (Regulatory & Litigation). The firm was also nationally ranked in the Oil & Gas (Transactional), Electricity (Regulatory & Litigation), Electricity (Finance) and Electricity (Transactional) categories. An impressed client noted that “Bracewell is a strong team with breadth and depth of experience. They are capable of mobilizing at a moment’s notice and follow through no matter what it takes.”

Bracewell was also ranked as a Band 1 firm in Texas: Environment for the fifth consecutive year. In addition, the firm was nationally ranked in both Climate Change and Environment. The team is described as “one of the leaders in the Texas market; a trusted adviser” and “[k]nowledgeable, well connected, thoughtful, analytical, responsive and strategic.”

For the 14th year in a row, Bracewell’s market-leading finance team was ranked Band 1 for Texas: Banking & Finance. A client noted that the finance lawyers are “commercially-minded about protecting the interests of the client while getting the deal done,” while a market commentator stated the practice is “one of the best and easiest firms to work with.”

With respect to the individual rankings, approximately 50 percent of the firm’s US partners were recognized as leaders in their respective practice areas. Of the 63 lawyer rankings in this year’s guide, approximately 25 percent of the lawyers were ranked as Band 1, Senior Statespersons or Eminent Practitioner.
