WASHINGTON, DC– Catherine D. Little, a partner in Bracewell LLP’s Washington, DC office, was honored as the Energy Natural Resources & Mining Lawyer of the Year at the 2024 Women in Business Law Americas Awards.
For over 30 years, Little has advised oil and gas pipeline, storage, and LNG clients across the United States on traditional and renewable energy, transportation and safety-related legal matters at federal, state and local levels. Currently, Little’s and her team’s work at Bracewell extends to counseling clients on the energy transition, including public as well as confidential carbon capture utilization and storage, hydrogen, and renewable natural gas projects across the United States, many of which involve novel jurisdictional and strategic considerations as applicable laws and regulations continue to evolve. She is also recognized as a trusted mentor, having advanced multiple initiatives for women’s professional development and retention over the years, such as associate liaison committees and formal and informal mentorship programs and opportunities for women.
