HOUSTON – Bracewell LLP represented Kinder Morgan, Inc. (NYSE: KMI) in connection with its acquisition of North American Natural Resources, Inc. and its sister companies, North American Biofuels, LLC and North American-Central, LLC, for a combined purchase price and related transaction costs of $135 million.
The transaction, which closed on August 11, 2022, included seven landfill gas-to-power facilities in Michigan and Kentucky. Kinder Morgan will make a final investment decision on the conversion of up to four of the seven gas-to-power facilities to renewable natural gas (RNG) facilities shortly following the closing.
