LONDON – Bracewell LLP represented Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (FRV) in connection with the UK’s largest battery storage project, developed in collaboration with UK developer Harmony Energy.
The 99 MW/198 MWh Clay Tye project will utilize Tesla Megapack lithium-ion batteries along with Tesla’s Autobidder AI software for real-time trading and control. Once completed, the project will be the largest battery storage plant of its kind in the UK.
Commencement of construction of this plant comes shortly after energization of the 34 MW/68 MWh Contego battery energy storage facility in the UK, also developed by FRV and Harmony in conjunction with Tesla.
