WASHINGTON, DC – Bracewell LLP principal Kendall Mitchell was named to the Congressional Black Caucus’ (CBC) 2024 Power 100 List, which recognizes the accomplishments of influential Black leaders who have made significant contributions to their communities and their industries, including law, politics, business and healthcare.
Mitchell, a member of the firm’s Policy Resolution Group in Washington, DC, is a strategic communications professional with extensive experience in message development, professional and strategic branding, social media management, media relations and crisis communications. She began her career on Capitol Hill, serving in various roles as an advisor to a Member of Congress, including as deputy press secretary, official speechwriter, spokesperson and social media strategist. In addition, Mitchell served in the US Department of Justice’s Office of Public Affairs.
The CBC is a caucus made up of African American members of the US Congress. It was founded in 1969, and it is the largest Black caucus in any national legislature worldwide.
