HOUSTON — Bracewell LLP announced today the promotion of three lawyers to senior counsel, effective January 1, 2024: Suzanne F. Day (Houston), Rebecca J. Foxwell (New York) and Eryn E. Roberts (Houston).

2024 Senior Counsel Promotions
Suzanne F. Day, Houston — Day negotiates substantial insurance recoveries and litigates against major insurers under commercial and excess general liability, property and business interruption, professional and fiduciary, directors and officers, errors and omissions, environmental and pollution, representations and warranties, and marine cargo policies. Prior to joining Bracewell, Day spent more than 20 years in the Legal Division of The Lubrizol Corporation, eventually becoming its chief legal and ethics officer. She earned her B.A. from the University of Virginia and her J.D., summa cum laude and Order of the Coif, from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. She is a fellow of the American College of Coverage Counsel and certified as a specialist in insurance law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
Rebecca J. Foxwell, New York — Foxwell focuses her practice on internal investigations, compliance reviews, white-collar criminal defense and complex civil litigation. Her investigation experience includes matters involving allegations of workplace misconduct, discrimination, harassment, financial improprieties and fraud. She also assists clients in regulatory enforcement matters and response to government investigations. Foxwell earned her B.A., summa cum laude, from Vanderbilt University and her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, where she served on the editorial board of The Journal of Law & Politics.
Eryn E. Roberts, Houston — Roberts works on a range of public finance matters as bond counsel, disclosure counsel and underwriter’s counsel. Her background includes advising issuers on securities law disclosure obligations and related regulatory matters, as well as representing issuers and underwriters in initial public offerings, and public and private offerings of securities. Roberts earned her B.A., summa cum laude, from the University of Houston and her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law. Roberts has been named “One to Watch” in public finance law by Best Lawyers, and she is recognized in public finance in Lawdragon 500 X – The Next Generation.
