DUBAI – Bracewell LLP has been shortlisted for UAE Projects & Energy Law Firm of the Year at the Chambers Middle East Awards 2024, which recognizes a firm’s excellence in the region, as well as outstanding work and excellence in client service over the past 12 months. The awards honor the work of national and international law firms across the region based on research for the upcoming Chambers Global 2024 Guide. Winners will be announced on March 7 in Dubai.

Bracewell’s recognition is largely due to advising on an array of innovative and first-of-their-kind matters across the region. This year, the firm brought to financial close the award-winning financing of the Saad 300-MW solar PV IPP and Wadi Ad Dawasir 120-MW IPP, both in Saudi Arabia. Bracewell also led on numerous ground-breaking utilities projects, including the Zuluf IWP – which closed in April – and real estate and social infrastructure transactions. In this sector, the firm successfully advised two separate consortia from bid to the April 2023 financial closing on several residential communities’ projects for the NEOM giga-city in Saudi Arabia. In the healthcare sector, Bracewell is also advising the lenders to Saudi Arabia’s very first hospital PPP.

Bracewell’s Dubai office is a regional hub for clients with interests in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. The firm represents companies in the energy, utilities, healthcare, defense, automotive, manufacturing, banking and professional services sectors on project development and project finance, construction, and commercial and corporate matters.
