The First 100 Days and the Second 100 Days of the Biden Administration

The panel will discuss the steps that the Biden Administration has already taken, and initiatives it has already announced, under a variety of federal laws and to be carried out by a variety of federal agencies. The panel will also discuss the likelihood that the Biden White House will be able to work with Congress to achieve some of its environmental goals. Yasmin Nelson brings a fresh understanding of the current trajectory based on her recent experience as a member of then-Senator Kamala Harris’ staff and on the Hill with other key Senators. Based on their own experience in the federal government, Jeff Holmstead and Ann Navaro understand both the possibilities and limits of what can be done under current law. The three of them will also gaze into their crystal balls and discuss the future actions they believe we will see from the Biden Administration over the next four years.
