We draw on deep regulatory knowledge and experience with OSHA’s process safety management standard, EPA’s risk-management program, BSEE’s SEMS program, and PHMSA’s integrity-management requirements. We track changes in policy, enforcement, administrative decisions, and proposed rulemaking associated with each of these regulatory programs. During an incident response, our team is well-equipped to spot deficiencies in a facility’s compliance with these programs and discuss the associated legal risks.

Members of our team are regularly invited to address industry groups on prevention, preparedness, and response.  We actively monitor changes in guidance from the American Chemistry Council, the American Petroleum Institute, and the Center for Chemical and Process Safety.  We recognize that our client’s sites are on a process safety journey that did not start with, and will not end with, a specific incident.
