About Jordan

Jordan Kindred has worked on a variety of cases both in federal and state court, including complex commercial litigation, mass pharmaceutical torts, and a variety of labor and employment issues.

Jordan currently sits on the Board of the Houston Young Lawyers Association, where she also serves as co-chair of the Continuing Legal Education Committee.  She received HYLA’s President Award for Outstanding Committee Chair for the 2017-2018 bar year, and recently accepted her nomination to become a Houston Young Lawyers Foundation Fellow.

Before joining Bracewell, Jordan spent time serving County Civil Court at Law No. 2 of Harris County, the 6th Judicial Circuit Court of Alabama, and the Harris County Criminal Justice Center 184th Criminal Court.  Jordan also served as the Chief Casenotes and Comments Editor for the Houston Journal of International Law. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Alabama where she received her Bachelor’s degree in communication.  Jordan obtained her law degree from the University of Houston Law Center in 2016.

Recent Notable Matters

Parallax Performance Management, Inc. and John Regula v. Accelytics, Inc., and Ashish Jain — obtained a $551,000 jury verdict against a company that wrongly claimed it had an enforceable non-competition agreement with Jay’s client; tortiously interfered with the client’s prospective business relationship; and breached a contract by failing to pay the client’s earned commissions.
