Humza Deshmukh focuses his practice on commercial lending and project finance in a variety of industries with an emphasis on the renewable energy sector. He represents clients in senior and subordinated debt financings, acquisition and project financings, structured financings, leveraged buyouts, securitizations, structured commodity arrangements, maritime financings, trade financings, restructurings and DIP financings.
Prior to practicing law, Humza spent time overseas working with the non-profit Human Rights Now, assisting people displaced by illegal logging in Malaysia. He also previously taught English to young professionals and college students in Turkey.
