Trey Wood Named Chair of Bracewell’s Financial Restructuring Group

HOUSTON – Bracewell LLP announced today that William A. (Trey) Wood III has been named chair of the firm’s financial restructuring group.

Trey brings more than 28 years of experience to his new role. He regularly represents debtors, creditors, committees and other stakeholders in a range of bankruptcy and restructuring matters, most notably in the energy industry.

He is consistently recognized as one of the nation’s leading bankruptcy and restructuring lawyers by leading legal directories, including Chambers USA (2009, 2011–2019) and Legal 500 United States (2009, 2012, 2016–2019). Earlier this month, The Best Lawyers in America® honored Trey as Houston Lawyer of the Year for Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights/Insolvency and Reorganization Law.
