HOUSTON – Bracewell & Giuliani LLP announced today that Partner Philip J. Bezanson has been named managing partner of the firm’s Seattle office.
“Since opening the Seattle office in 2010, we have seen tremendous growth in our client base on the west coast,” said firm Managing Partner Mark C. Evans. “I am pleased to have Phil take on this new leadership role and continue to grow our presence in the area.”
Bezanson joined the firm in 2006 and focuses his practice on white collar defense and defending against regulatory enforcement actions and other government investigations, as well as high stakes commercial litigation. He regularly defends corporations and executives facing allegations of securities fraud, antitrust violations, environmental crimes, bribery, mail/wire fraud, tax offenses, and other business crimes or regulatory violations. He has handled high profile and complex cases involving the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, accounting practices at publicly traded companies, and trading desks at financial institutions.
