Patrick Johnson Named 2022 Law360 Project Finance Rising Star

HOUSTON – Patrick K. Johnson, a partner in Bracewell LLP’s Houston office, has been named a 2022 Law360 Project Finance Rising Star. Johnson is one of 176 lawyers under the age of 40 recognized this year for excellence in their respective practice areas.

Johnson advises energy industry companies, private equity investors, alternative lenders, and financial institutions on offshore and onshore wind generation facilities; carbon capture, sequestration and utilization projects; upstream oil and gas projects; pipelines and other midstream facilities; downstream facilities; and merchant fossil-fuel electric generation facilities.

He currently represents Navigator CO₂ Ventures LLC in developing the Heartland Greenway, an industrial-scale carbon capture, transportation and sequestration system. The project spans more than 1,200 miles of new CO₂ gathering and transportation pipelines and underground sequestration sites across the Midwest.
