The New York Law Journal Names Dan Connolly 2020 New York Trailblazer

NEW YORK — The New York Law Journal has named Daniel S. Connolly, Bracewell LLP’s New York office, to its 2020 list of New York Trailblazers. Connolly was recognized among an elite group of 51 lawyers who have “made significant marks on the practice, policy and technological advancement of their practice.”

Connolly began his legal career as a prosecutor in the Office of the Manhattan District Attorney, before serving as special counsel in the New York Mayor’s Office. He joined Bracewell in 2005 to help the firm build its New York office. Connolly represents clients on a range of complex commercial litigation and white collar matters. His recent work includes serving on the Bracewell teams that conducted an independent review of how the Catholic Archdiocese of New York handles decades-old abuse claims and the privilege review that determined which documents prosecutors could use of those seized from President Donald Trump’s longtime lawyer Michael Cohen.
