Mark K. Lewis Named to University of Maryland College Park Foundation’s Board of Trustees

Washington, DC (June 3, 2019) Bracewell LLP’s Mark K. Lewis has been named to serve on the University of Maryland College Park Foundation’s Board of Trustees.

As a trustee, Lewis will help oversee the investment and distribution of private funds, serve as an ambassador on behalf of the foundation and university, assist and advise the university’s president, and help increase philanthropic support for the university.

Lewis graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of science degree from the University of Maryland College Park in 1987 (and also graduated magna cum laude with a juris doctor degree in 1990 from Georgetown University Law Center). In addition to leading the firm’s oil and gas regulatory practice, he is the managing partner of Bracewell’s Washington, DC office and a member of the firm’s management committee

He will serve a three-year term, beginning July 1.
