NEW YORK – Law360 has honored Bracewell Partner Ron I. Erlichman as a 2018 MVP in project finance.
Erlichman co-chairs Bracewell’s project finance practice. While his practice focuses largely on energy projects, Erlichman maintains a diverse practice. He has experience with all aspects of the financing and development of power generation facilities, renewable projects, transmission facilities, chemical and petrochemical facilities, terminals, transportation projects, hospitality and social infrastructure projects, and sports and entertainment venues.
He recently led Bracewell’s representation of AP Energy Holdings Inc. and South Field Energy LLC, affiliates of Advanced Power, in the successful closing of the financing and equity arrangements for the construction of the $1.3 billion South Field Energy project. The transaction is the first greenfield natural gas generation facility in PJM to close in over a year.
Law360, a Portfolio Media, Inc. publication, annually honors the top lawyers in the legal industry for their exceptional work with an MVP designation. Law360 editors reviewed more than 1,000 submissions from leading US law firms to select this year’s winners.
Previous MVPs from Bracewell include Kevin A. Ewing (environmental), John G. Klauberg (energy), Robin J. Miles (project finance), G. Alan Rafte (energy) and Paul Schectman (white collar).
