IJ Global Recognizes Neptune Energy Group’s Transformational Acquisition as Oil & Gas Upstream Transaction of the Year

LONDON (March 26, 2019) – IJ Global recognized Neptune Energy Group’s acquisition of a majority stake in ENGIE E&P International S.A. (EPI) for $3.9 billion as its 2018 Oil & Gas Upstream Transaction of the Year at the 2018 Europe and Africa Awards.

The Bracewell team, led by London Managing Partner Jason Fox, represented The Carlyle Group, CVC Capital and Neptune in connection with the debt financing aspects of Neptune’s acquisition of a majority stake in EPI. The transaction closed in February 2018 and transformed Neptune into one of the largest independent exploration companies in Europe.
