IFLR1000 Specialists Guide 2019 Profiles Bracewell’s London Team for Oil and Gas Work in Africa

LONDON – Bracewell (UK) LLP was recognized for its leadership on oil and gas transactions in Africa in the IFLR1000 Specialists Guide 2019. The guide recognizes “firms and teams with specialisms in areas of law that are rare for the markets in which they operate.” Bracewell is one of only 50 global law firms profiled in this year’s guide.

Since its founding in 2013, Bracewell’s London office has worked on a series of market-leading transactions in Africa on behalf of oil and gas companies, as well lenders to oil and gas projects. Recent highlights include advising Eni on three separate transactions for the sale of interests in Egypt’s Zohr field to BP, Rosneft and Mubadala for more than $2.5 billion; Shoreline Natural Resources on a $534 million financing led by Vitol and secured against assets in Nigeria; and Savannah in the restructuring of its commercial arrangements with Frontier Limited.
