Danielle Garbien Honored as Energy, Natural Resources & Mining Lawyer of the Year at 2022 Women in Business Law Americas Awards

NEW YORK – Danielle Garbien, a partner in Bracewell LLP’s New York office, was named “Energy, Natural Resources & Mining Lawyer of the Year” at the 2022 Women in Business Law Americas Awards, held on June 9. The awards, presented annually by Euromoney Legal Media Group, recognize leading women lawyers for their contributions to the practice of law as well as law firms for their commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Garbien represents developers, hedge providers, financial institutions, private equity companies and hedge funds in a wide range of complex energy financing, acquisitions, investments, power purchase agreements, and hedging transactions in the energy, commodities and infrastructure sectors. She advises clients on some of the world’s largest wind, solar and battery storage transactions in the United States.

Garbien also co-chairs Bracewell’s Women Network (BWN) and is a frequent speaker on current trends and structuring complex transactions in various energy sectors, including power, gas, wind, solar and battery storage.
