Crain’s New York Business Names Rachel Goldman a 2022 Notable Diverse Leader in Law

NEW YORK – Rachel B. Goldman, a litigation partner in Bracewell LLP’s New York office, has been named a 2022 Notable Diverse Leader in Law by Crain's New York Business. “These individuals excel in their practice at New York’s leading law firms across a range of specialties,” noted Crain’s New York Business. “They stand out for their counseling and the nature of their pro bono work. They likewise demonstrate a commitment to community service … and diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.”

Goldman, who focuses on complex commercial litigation in the energy, construction, infrastructure and finance sectors, is a founder and co-chair of Bracewell’s ESG practice. Under her co-leadership, the firm is at the forefront of legal and policy developments concerning climate change, social responsibility and corporate governance. In one notable matter, she represents Equinor Wind concerning litigation on its flagship offshore wind projects in New York.

A steadfast diversity and inclusion advocate in the legal profession, Goldman is also co-chair of Bracewell’s pro bono program and works with Her Justice to provide services to and to address individual and systemic legal barriers. Through their pro bono first model, Her Justice pairs thousands of pro bono lawyers with women with legal needs in family and immigration law.

Goldman also serves on Bracewell’s associate committee, providing mentorship and developing policies and practices regarding associate development, and diversity and inclusion.
