Bracewell's Seattle Office Hosts Panel Discussion on Diversity Issues

The Associate Inclusion Committee sponsored a panel discussion, entitled “Navigating Diversity Issues in the Legal Profession.” The panel, which took place at Bracewell’s Seattle office, included the Honorable Judge Ronald Cox, of the Washington State Court of Appeals; Dean Michelle Gonzalez, Assistant Dean of the University of Washington School of Law; and Michael Trinh, corporate counsel at Google. Bracewell Partner Erin Hennessy moderated the event, which included Bracewell clients, law professors, attorneys, and law students both from the Seattle area and across the country.

“We engaged in a rigorous and meaningful discussion on diversity and inclusion issues that face the legal profession, while enjoying amazing views of the city from Bracewell’s Columbia Center offices in Seattle,” said Bracewell Associate Soham Naik, co-head of the firm’s Associate Inclusion Committee. “The room was packed, and we were all encouraged by each other’s passion for improving diversity and inclusion in the legal community.”
